Terms of use

Stillstone for Android · Last updated October 11, 2026

Provider (legal notice)

Stillstone is provided by ZK Lab. E-mail: zklab@hundredships.com.

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

The app

Stillstone is a mahjong solitaire game for Android, made for adults. You can download it and play every level and today's daily board without paying; the free version shows ads. You may use the app for your own, personal play.

Your progress is kept only on your phone (see the privacy policy), so uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it, unless your phone's backup brings it back.

Updates and changes

We keep Stillstone up to date, for example to fix errors, keep it working on new versions of Android and improve it. We change what a purchase or Stillstone Plus includes only for a valid reason and at no extra cost to you. If a change would more than slightly reduce your access to something you paid for or how well you can use it, we tell you in good time beforehand, and you have the rights the law gives you, including ending the contract free of charge.

Remove ads

“Remove ads” is a one-time purchase through Google Play. It removes the ads for good, on every device where you use the same Google account, and gives you extra help (hints, shuffles, rewinds, 24-hour unlocks and theme trials) without watching an ad, within the same limits as before. It doesn't include the other parts of Stillstone Plus.

Stillstone Plus

Stillstone Plus is a subscription through Google Play, billed yearly or monthly at the price Google Play shows you before you buy. While it is active it removes all ads and unlocks what the Store in the app lists: every past daily board, unlimited help, more tile sets and backgrounds, extra layouts and 30-day insights.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or in the app under Settings → Manage subscription. Plus then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Free trial

The yearly plan can start with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers; Google Play decides who can use it, usually once per Google account. You aren't charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, the yearly subscription then starts at the price shown when you began the trial. The app sends a notice the day before the trial ends, if you allow notifications.

Rewards from ads

Rewarded ads are optional. What you get for them (hints, shuffles, rewinds, 24-hour unlocks and theme trials) is part of the game: it has no money value and can't be exchanged or transferred.

Payments, refunds and restoring

Google Play handles every payment, and the Google Play Terms of Service apply to it. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy, without affecting your statutory rights. If you reinstall the app or switch phones, sign in to Google Play with the same Google account and use Settings → Restore purchases.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content such as “Remove ads” and Stillstone Plus, this right ends early once we begin providing it, if you expressly agreed that we start before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal; Google Play asks for this when you buy. Where your right of withdrawal still applies, you can use it by sending us a clear statement, for example by e-mail to zklab@hundredships.com, or by requesting a refund in Google Play.

Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under product liability law and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation (one that makes the proper use of the app possible in the first place and that you may regularly rely on), and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise we aren't liable for slight negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your rights

The statutory rights for faulty digital products apply to your purchases. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply to purchases made after they take effect; for a purchase you have already made or a running subscription, the terms you agreed to stay in force unless you accept the new ones.
